Travis Fullerton Receives Theresa Pollak Award

Through determination and a love for the arts, Theresa Pollak was able to develop the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts and the University of Richmond arts program.  Each year, artists around the Richmond area are recognized for excelling in various mediums through Pollak Awards. Congratulations to Travis Fullerton for receiving the 13th Annual Theresa Pollak Award for Photography.

Fullerton creates a sense of place by weaving space, light and time together.  His large-format, acordian-like camera allows him to capture unique experiences.  He has taught at VCU, Art 180, and the Virginia Museum Studio School.

Contemporary Folk Artist Eldridge Bagley

Eldride Bagley's 29th one man show, "Rural Tapestry" is coming to a close this weekend.   Some of you have never seen Eldridge in person.  Some of us have not experienced his simple quieter way of life. We wanted to share a recent trip to Eldridge's farm in Lunenburg County.
You will experience a small portion of his life and see and hear how he uses current and past experiences for his paintings.  Below are two videos which were captured a few weeks ago on his farm.
