New Painting for the Secondary Art Market

International artist, James DelGrosso, painted this beautiful painting in the early 80's.  "Spray of Orchids" oil on panel, 12" x 15" unframed, was purchased in Richmond, Virginia at Cudahy's Gallery.  DelGrosso no longer paints in the size range...this is truly a gem.
Currently he is represented by OK Harris Gallery in New York.

Gallery doubles their current exhibition schedule

Starting December 1, 2009, the glave kocen gallery will feature monthly on-line exhibits in addition to their exhibits located at their 1620 West Main Street location in Virginia. "The exhibits will be exclusive to the gallery website and will double our current exhibition schedule.” states Jennifer Glave. "This decision was an easy one and will be such a great benefit to our clients and artist alike." Since opening in 2007 the gallery has had over 500,000 hits on their website so it was a natural progression to include an additional
12 exhibitions to their schedule.
Richmond artist, Steve Hedberg, will be the first featured on-line exhibition. It runs Tuesday, December 1st through December 31st. He's created a blend of his 2 distinct styles of realism and abstract that comes across with more emotion. "Like a memory," begins Hedberg, "the paintings are coming into focus and yet remain a little hazy. It leaves more room for interpretation."
